This site is here for one reason: to help good, honest people find good, honest secondhand finds — and lately, to help neighbors connect with neighbors too. Use it in that spirit and there's nothing here to worry about.
Jojin's Kitty Thrift Shop ("we," "us," "the shop") operates this website to showcase inventory available at our physical store located at 4100 N Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60641, and to host a few community features described below. This website does not process purchases or payments — all purchases of shop inventory happen in person, at the store.
This site allows visitors to submit their own photos (the "Gallery") and their own items for sale (the "Community Listings"), which we review before anything is published.
Community Listings are not consignment and are not sold by the shop. Anyone posting a Community Listing is selling their own item, on their own behalf. If a listing includes contact information, any resulting communication, negotiation, sale, exchange, meetup, or transaction happens directly between the buyer and the person who posted the listing — the shop is not a party to it, does not handle payment, does not verify the accuracy of any listing, and is not responsible for the condition, legality, ownership, or description of anything posted.
To be direct about it: this site exists to be helpful, and we expect it to be used that way. If someone uses this site — including the Gallery or Community Listings — to do something dishonest, harmful, or illegal, responsibility for that lies entirely with the person who did it, not with this website or its owners. We review submissions before they go live and remove anything that shouldn't be here, but we cannot guarantee the conduct of every person who uses this site, and we don't accept liability for it.
We reserve the right to remove any submission, at any time, for any reason, without notice.
Items shown on this site are secondhand and sold as-is. Availability, pricing, and condition can change without notice — the site is a helpful preview of inventory, not a guarantee that a specific item is still available when you arrive.
This site is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep information accurate and the site running smoothly, but we don't guarantee it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly up to date.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jojin's Kitty Thrift Shop and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, any transaction arranged through a Community Listing, or any content submitted by a third party.
We may update these terms from time to time as the site changes. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the current version.
