A Funko shelf that is priced like a thrift shop

Buying Pops in Chicago usually means one of two things: paying retail for whatever is currently on a big-box peg, or paying secondary-market prices for anything that is not. Neither is much fun if what you actually enjoy is digging.

Jojin’s Kitty is a thrift shop at 4100 N Pulaski Rd, and the Funko shelf is one of the larger single sections in it — around a hundred figures at any given time, taken in secondhand and priced against what we paid rather than against a sold-listings search.

What is usually on it

Prices on the shelf generally run from around $6 to $30. Because everything is secondhand, boxes vary — some are clean, some are shelf-worn, some figures are out of box entirely. It is marked either way, and you can look before you buy.

Worth checking more than once

There is no distributor and no reorder here — the shelf is whatever came through the door. That makes it unpredictable in the way that is actually the point: the exclusive you have been half-looking for is either sitting there this week or it is not. The live inventory below is the fastest way to check before making the trip, and calling ahead costs nothing.
