Japanese & Anime Finds
We are a general thrift shop, not a Japanese import store — but Sanrio, anime and Japanese games are one of the biggest things that comes through the door, usually a couple of hundred pieces at a time.
An honest note: we are not Japanese-owned and we do not import stock from Japan. What is here came in secondhand in Chicago, which is why prices sit well below Japanese import shops — and why it is different every week.
Almost everything is a single piece. If you are after something specific — a character, a series, a particular import game — call or text (312) 610-0321 and we will tell you what is on the shelf today.
4100 N Pulaski Rd, just north of Irving Park Rd in Old Irving Park. Easy from Albany Park, Avondale, Portage Park and Logan Square, with street parking usually right out front.
Pulled live from the shop’s inventory — Sanrio, anime, Pokémon and Japanese-import pieces, newest first.

Yes. Hello Kitty, Kuromi, My Melody and Cinnamoroll plush, bags, wallets and accessories come in regularly. Chicago has no official Sanrio store; everything here is secondhand.
Regularly, yes — Japanese Game Boy, N64, DS, 3DS, PSP and PS Vita titles turn up alongside US releases. Check that a Japanese game will run on your console before you buy; region locking varies by system.
You can submit your own items to be listed through the Sell With Us page on this site, or call the shop at (312) 610-0321 to ask.
